The collection contains more than 250 buggies, carriages, and wagons, representing a wide range of styles and functions from the 1800s to the 1900s. We have the largest collection of buggies and wagons in Texas, with vehicles from 12 different countries, and no two are the same!
Yes. Visitors are welcome to take non-commercial photographs for personal use. Please be respectful - avoid touching delicate finishes and follow any signage requesting no flash or restricted access. For professional shoots or commercial photography, please contact us in advance to arrange permissions and site support. Additional fees may apply for professional and commercial photography.
95% of our carriages are all original, and we take special care in the preservation of the carriages. A few components may be reproduction parts used in conservation to maintain structural integrity while preserving original appearance.
Yes. The museum is perfect for school groups and guided tours. Each buggy has its history displayed, so groups can tour at their own pace. We also offer guided tours and can provide educational materials and group pricing upon request. Contact us to schedule a guided visit.
